Some artists are too shy for their own good.
 has been my friend for years and I never knew how artistically capable she was. I twisted her arm a bit to let me post this portrait.After the last piece I commissioned of Desmodas Siazar, I realized many artist like to use photo references. While I was pleased with the choice the artist made, it occurred to me I should chose the photo references my self, going forward. With Alicynn's much appreciated help, we poured over hundreds of photos, but could never come up with anyone better then Monica Belluci. When Alicynn asked to review some of the reference photos I had selected, I know I was in for a treat. UPDATED with better copy. |
